The SAP composite core is a water-absorbent core layer composed of fluff pulp and Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP).
It is the main part for the absorbent core structure of diapers and pull-up pants.
What is SAP?
Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) is a polymer with a three-dimensional space network formed by appropriate cross-linking.
What are the features of SAP?
It is insoluble in water and in organic solvents, but it has peculiar water absorption and water retention properties.
At the same time, it has the characteristics of polymer materials:
1. Large water absorption, SAP is like a small bead, although the diameter is only 0.2 mm, but it can absorb thousands of times its own mass of water.
2. Fast absorption speed, and the gel can be formed in a few seconds.
3. Strong water retention, absorbs water and does not leak out, not easy to lose water even under heat and pressure conditions.
It has good stability to light, heat, acid and alkali, captures and quickly absorbs urine, disperses urine or energy.
It is diffused throughout the core by capillary action, ultimately absorbing and storing urine.
